One of my favorite things to see in nature are bird battles. This means ordinary birds evicting birds of prey from their territory. It is infinitely amusing to watch. I'm pulling out the popcorn every time.
So far I got
Crow > Red Kite
Seagull > Buzzard (seagull was struggling without wind though)
Sandpiper > me (it was attacking my head, like full-on trying to gouge my eyes out!)
Crow & kestrel = semi-chill with each other
Wood pigeon > crow
What I'm getting at is birds vs. dragons. Would an enraged pair of crows manage to get a dragon to leave their area???? Or would the dragon bat the crows out of the sky with one swerve of its tail?
I would think it depends. But it's fun to think about, especially in the Httydverse where we don't really see the dragons interact with many species of animals other than their own. I think birds and dragons could be great friends. They could forge a symbiotic relationship, with the birds getting to feed on the scraps that the dragons leave behind from their meals, or to use dead dragon scales as nesting material. In return, dragons might rely on birds as they are better versed in orientation/have intuitive migration patterns. There could also be forms of interactive play or the exchange of trinkets.
Yep, I need birds and dragons to be friends.
Omg a fellow dragon fan!!! =3
YEEEEESSSSSSSSS Dragons are my liiiife :D
