was craving for some dim sum, and ended up here, at this fancy restaurant, at a really weird hours, to enjoy some yummy steamed and fried food. ordered their signature xiao long bao 小笼包, and shao mai 烧卖, and fried dumplings 锅贴, and fried bean curd skin and stir fried carrot cake.
their xiao long bao is huge, and the taste is pretty okay. because it is big, it feels rather filling as well. i enjoyed the fried bean curd skin a lot, really crispy and not too oily. stir fried carrot cake is very fragrant too. and washing everything down with a pot of chinese tea makes the meal complete.
it is a fancy place, and the food is nice, but pricey. service is impeccable though, the staff was super friendly to us and other customers. and food was served so quickly, since the restaurant is pretty empty.
