A sketch I mad for Dragon!Adrien

There are a lot of 'Adrien loses his ring Prompts and stories out there but I'm giving you another one that I believe hasn't been done yet. One without salt or even Adrien salt. So many of these stories just have the authors crapping all over Adrien, so here's one that doesn't.

So after Miracle queen Marinette realises that shes now all alone in being the guardian.

She doesn't like this at all. Not one bit.

She and Chat Noir are supposed to be equals, two halves of a whole. So she quickly decides to stage a reveal, going on and on about how it they go through with this, they will both have larger responsibilities and need to take everything seriously from now on.

Especially since its just the two of them now.

As soon as they both Dr-transform they spend three seconds staring at each other before they both break down laughing at the irony.

 "We were so stupid" Becomes an inside joke to them.

There is no romantic feelings, no sudden desire to date one another. Since Marinette moved on from Adrien so he could pursue Kagami and Adrien decided to let go of his feelings for Ladybug to do the same.

They develop a strong Brother-Sister style relationship.

Adrien and Marinette both continue to learn all about the miraculous, both are co-guardians and take care of the Kwami and miraculous.

Due to his busy schedule Adrien had to escape at night so the two of them could learn together.

It was going great.

Until his schedule for busier, and Akuma's got more frequent and he got less sleep, ate less.

It wasn't long before he became a mess, unable to balance being Adrien, Chat Noir and Guardian Agreste.

It was so much easier when it was just balancing Chat Noir and Adrien, when he could just blame the Akumas on his tardiness.

Marinette could do nothing but watch as he got worse.

After a few months with close calls and near misses Marinette makes a decision.

To remove The ring of destruction from Adrien's position. Not out of malice but care, it was clear he couldn't handle the stress anymore.

As much as she could have just let him drop Guardian training she knew that both the black Cat and Ladybug had to be equals.

In place of his ring she gave him a miraculous of his choice and let him choose who would replace him.

He took the Dragon Miraculous and choose Kagami as his replacement.

Marinette manages to get everything set up so Tomeo believes Kagami is learning Chinese from Marinette, technically she is but it's not like Tomeo would know the truth.

Kagami takes it surprisingly well, she is surprised her boyfriend was the last Cat Hero but only remarks that his disappearances make sense now.

Adrien now only had to worry about being a hero and being Adrien, less work on his plate and less stress overall.

He gets healthier and now with three heroes the battles are easier. Kagami also makes for a nice Guardian too.

Bonus: If Marinette goes through the exact same stress too while balancing being Marinette, Ladybug and the Guardian.

She too gives up the earrings, deciding to give them to Luka. Cause of this Kagami doesn't need to become a guardian since that would disbalance the Ladybug and Black cat.

Marinette would sometimes use the Snake miraculous to assist/ train whenever she can.
