⚡️I’m excited to announce that for my drag king debut I will be doing a Bowie tribute. I have many plans for Leroy Dagger and where we will go on this drag journey but for now I’m exploring my roots. Bowie is integral to my queer journey and I hope to do him justice as I perform Space Oddity/Life on Mars on October 22 @whykikibar . It’s been my dream for quite some time to do this iconic look. It all began with Bowie but other stars such as Gillian Anderson, Tilda Swinton, and Jessica Lange have worn the iconic androgynous blue suit and makeup. I’ve also been studying the lyrics to Life on Mars and how it was made. Funny enough My Way by Frank Sinatra inspired David Bowie to create Life on Mars.
