           League meetings were always a spectacle. Johto’s gym leaders, with their personalities and ages ranging high to low, never failed to make simple and quiet discussions something entirely different. Be it overwhelmed with laughter, and a lack of seriousness━━ or the exact opposite. Arguments, heated, with tension strung like fine trip wire. Ready to clothesline the first daring person.

          The  w h i r l w i n d  of emotions ━ ( primarily Whitney’s... ) ━ always seemed to go over Matsuba’s head. Most thought it was the exhaustion that constantly plagued his face, seeping into headspace with every passing second. In truth, the mystic could simply control his empathy. Neutralize it━ or absorb it, giving all the chaos somewhere to go.

         This meeting, however smooth it might of gone over, he lingered after. Arms loosely crossed under his chest, and eyes on Johto’s Champion. Calculative, worried almost, as he picked over all the little ticks.

There was always something tacky with the idea of staring into the stars at night, brooding about the past and wondering how to continue her future. Never the less, Karen was there, out on the balcony of the league doing just that. In fact, she was so enthralled with thinking about things, she almost missed Lance tapping the door behind her to announce his arrival.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Okay so,I mentioned this on Wxtaru’s but I never did play RBY, GSC, or HGSS, to the close so I never got to personally experience Lance’s character. I like his design and I like his general dynamic, I think he’s a good, iconic first champion for the generation. Lmao while Red and Blue are messing around, Lance is over here being steady. 

How they play them: I’ve seen a handful of Lances float across my dash and I will proudly say that Dragerou is top-notch. A perfect balance of righteous zealot and good man; He’s both human and approachable but stoic while trying to maintain the facade of control. Overall just a really good straight man in dramatic and humorous situations. I was most engaged, of late, by his relationship with Giovanni and Team Rocket, his sense of betrayal and failure over allowing both to take root in the league.  This Lance feels like the logical conclusion of the Lance presented in the games, fleshed and rounded-out. The Mun: I don’t know them personally but they seem like a very cool and approachable mun. Really willing to work with head-canons and plots, as well as just being pretty funny in general.

RP with them: Yes!Want to RP with them: If you want a Lance who is the best extension of the canon character presented in the games I’ve seen yet and is  written by a greater writer with solid technical skill, Dragerou is for you. 

What is my;

Overall Opinion: 14/9.8,  Would make fun of Lance’s secret love for fairy types again.
