I've gone over various questionable elements or decisions in Dragalia before, but this is less a pure 'mistake' and more just me going 'did the writers or translators get confused about their characters?' regarding Beren and Nedrick in one teenie tiny way.
What way?
Mana.
I feel like a decent portion of the fandom could tell you about Nedrick's mana-draining self. How he, if he's lacking in Human Resources like food and water, tends to start absorbing mana like a vacuum around him to compensate.
After all, they even made a comic revolving about it:, no.442:
But what if I told you that Beren was also seemingly mana-hungry, dependent on draining things around him for a little bit? Yup.
Oh, but don't worry, they fixed that in ch.14 for him.
...And they just kinda left it at that. I don't even recall them establishing that Beren was also dependent on external mana. So, let's get this straight:
-They introduce a problem Beren apparently had at the exact time it is solved for him
-Never bring it up before or after
-And introduce another royal family member with black hair who also has that same problem the very next chapter
...Yeaaah, like I said, technically it's not an official 'error' that I can point to, some outright contradiction in the plot, but it is a very big 'hmmm' moment where I seriously wonder if something got lost in the character notes.
