i want to make it clear this is for anyone who wants to read or try it and you dont have to be a certain label to read or try any of this its open for everyone

originally i would just send anons to our trans experience type blogs but i want a place to actually organize this stuff and make it a little more easy to find

all of that being said i wont really have a dni people dont really listen to those things anyway and i dont see the point in tryin to gatekeep this blog because it is just about spreading information

the way ill handle anything hurtful is if i get a reblog or ask or anon or reply thats harmful ill just delete and block i dont plan on arguing or making a public blocklist

lastly im not equip to handle heavy vents i can give advice about the topic of this blog and things related to it but if it gets to complicated or if the questions get to me i wont answer them i can only handle so much

im not a professional as you can tell by my superior grammar skills and how wonderfully ive structured all of this my sentences are going to be a mess and there might be typos every now and then but i am going to keep the tags coherent so people can find posts they want to see and i tend to bounce between using fancy words and sounding pretentious as hell to using slang its still me i just talk like that i guess i want to make it clear im not mad i dont touch my blogs when im mad so if im here im not mad its just how i come across over text so dont worry and also sorry about that if the tone thing bothers anyone youre free to split no hard feelings

one more thing im struggling to sort of summarize the tucking padding binding packing etc into one word i dont want to call it just trans tips because more people use these things like intersex non-binary genderqueer gender-fluid crossdressers cosplayers special effects makeup artists and drag performers and so so many more people plus some people just do it and dont even call it or themselves anything so im having a hard time picking just one term if anyone has ideas that would help

now to explain the tagging system: each type of whatever will be under its own tag so therell be a tucking, padding, binding, and packing tag each and also adhesives ill add more to this list when i think of it

Go to their shows (obviously) and just pay the cover charge without complaining.

If there is no cover charge, BUY SOMETHING. A drink, food, whatever. If the venue makes money, they’ll have more shows.

Tip your server/bar tender and BE POLITE. The crowd reflects on the performers, especially if a member of the cast is your friend outside of drag.

Actually watch the show! Don’t look at your phone (unless you’re recording a bit of the performance for snapchat, etc. which you should do!) or the TVs in the bar. Think how you would feel if you were performing and saw people not paying attention.

Don’t just tip your friends! Tip all the queens in the show, they’re all working hard!

Learn the performers’ names and tag them on social media. Post pics and let people know it was a fun time.

Tag the venue on social media, too while you’re at it. Let them see a positive response to the event.

Actually wear them. Yes, every single time you get in drag. Your makeup looks nuts without them.

TRIM THEM. You don’t need the entire strip, usually. Customize them to the length of your eye.

Lift the outer corner of your damn lashes or else you’ll look like a narcoleptic cow. An upward and outward shape is always flattering.

More is not always more. The size, shape, and amount of lashes should suit your face and be proportional to what’s happening under the eye. If you’re new to drag lashes, try a single 301 and build from there if you feel you need it.

Elmer’s disappearing purple glue stick. That’s it. Not some generic nonsense. Get a 3-pack.

Be patient and take your time. There are no shortcuts here.

Clean your brow area with rubbing alcohol, your skin and hair are oily and won’t stick.

Little circles with the glue stick against the skin going from the outside in toward your nose.

Comb that shit through, up and out. Separate the hairs and lay them flat. 

Apply the glue again in straight motions in the same direction you combed the hair.

Let it dry. It will turn clear. Use a fan or hair drier on cool for speed.

Another layer same as the last one. Straight up and out.

Powder. I use Ben Nye Super White. This shows up texture and creates a solid layer to build on.

2 more layers of glue, same as before, letting each layer dry. (Only you can judge if you need more glue than this. If you’ve got a thick brow, you may need more coverage.)

Powder again.

Clean all the crusty glue and powder off your forehead/under your brow. Trust me.

Apply your (full coverage!) foundation all over.

Done.
