So after a cricket came into our house, my mom wanted to get a draft excluder for the door. But because my mom isn’t internet savvy she asked me to get it. I purchased this handmade one on Etsy. Im knitting a draft excluded for the first time but I need to know whether I should be using smaller needles like if I was knitting a toy, or larger needles like I’m knitting clothes.

So like I’m using chunky thread and I’m gonna Knit in the round so my options of needles are 5mm or 6mm. If I was knitting a toy I know I’d use 5mm to keep the stuffing in, but for clothes it’s 6mm to form more holes so the clothes are warmer.
