M likes xmas because of the food, and because ten seems to like it. and nostalgia? after all, it was a xmas when they rescued him / they kidnapped him / the two of them started out this experiment of living together. 

ten gets drunk and nostalgic about their friends that they lost that same xmas. sometimes they go to spy on Donna and Wilf and their families and even bring him along. so that’s awkward.(things get less awkward later, especially with Donna, but this is how it is at first)

ten always cooks something special, whether a full british traditional christmas turkey dinner or some other recipe that they picked up in their travels. they cajole M into helping… he hates cooking because he’s bad at it; it’s a source of anxiety because there’s a lot that depends on timing and so much could go wrong… but if you want your vegs chopped very precisely, he’s your man. OCD kitchen helper. (no this is not autobiographical at all no sir)they definitely have fights while cooking, but usually make up.

Bake cupcakes for: the geek friends from Love & Monsters, but also Ten (with edible ballbearings on)

Put thumbtacks on the chair of: everybody who was racist to Martha (or Bill or Mickey or Danny Pink or Alison) and everybody shouting about Thirteen being a woman

Have a crush on: Alison Cheney, Ten(?), Four(?), Delgado

Pack up and leave if they moved next door: Harry Saxon, probably

Follow as captain of a ship: Martha Jones

Pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Four, Ace, Mickey, Nine 

Marry: (i’m already married to the cleverest and most surrealist person in the room, can i just keep him?)

Want as my boss: Shaun Temple (seems like he wouldn’t get mad a lot) or Shalka Doctor (seems easily distracted)

Sue: that rich entitled jerk on the starship titanic

he sleeps like a cat: when he gets the chance, and with one eye open.

a lot of the time he can’t sleep regularly, when the doctor does, because either ‘painsomnia’ or panic. though sometimes he manages to sleep when he’s dreamleading for the doctor. and then whenever he sort of shuts down randomly during the day, he’ll fall asleep if possible.
