@thebunnywhoneverlikedcarrots because she deserves a proper response for that ask I failed at.
"By the gods... that's the largest piece of Gemtech I have ever seen in my life," Trireme whispered. She started to approach it, narrowing her eyes. What information could she glean out of such a large piece of gem technology? She had no idea. It seemed to call to her, attracting her as she stepped closer to it, her hooves clicking against the marble floor, "It... there's something inside it. I can't see it well though."
"Something inside this Gemtech? What is it?" Theough the feed she could hear a voice. A booming charismatic, accented voice. She knew who it was but that didn’t take priority
"I..." She narrowed her eyes, scrutinizing every detail of the figure, drawn to its heavenly appearance. She stepped up to the gem, her face reflecting in the crystal as she looked deep in her own eyes; the only time she could ever see her reflection, and right behind it was the intricate mask. It called to her. She needed to free it, "I see a small figure, with wings... I think it's a puff. With white armor."
"Wait, a white armored puff?!"
"What is he DOING there?" There was panic on the other side of the feed at those she had been in contact with quickly realized just who it was Trireme had found. A deep voice suddenly cried out.
"Princess GET OUT OF THERE!"
"I... I feel compelled to touch it... I need to know..." Trireme babbled, her hands raised up to caress the crystal. Suddenly the crystal seemed to mold and pull her hands in, and her eyes widened in shock as her own gemtech resonated with the large crystal, and she suddenly got pulled in and out of consciousness.
"You are too dangerous!" Trireme could hear a voice, not unlike her own, and she opened her eyes to the feeling of being chained against a rock. She had no control over what she was doing but she was struggling, looking at the chains that bound her to the rock. She glanced back forward to see robed figures staring back at her, their eyes intense. She immediately recognized them as Halcandrans. She knew what she was accessing.
"What of my family?! What are you going to do to me?!" She demanded with a voice she knew she didn't have. She could feel anger, betrayal and pain in his voice and in his thoughts. She couldn't access them, but she knew what was going on. This was someone, being sealed against their own will in very powerful gemtech.
"They will be fine. You are too powerful of a warrior, and you have already destroyed planets trying to destroy our rogue NOVAs. We cannot allow you to continue."
"It was your rogue NOVAs who forced my hand like this in the first place!" The voice kept going, defiantly. Still, the Halcandrans raised their hands, the gemtech growing around him, sealing him in. More memories flooded in. This wasn't the first time he was released. She could sense other times. Powerful battles and fights.
"Fight me." It hit her all times he had been released since then... they were for a fight. And he was the greatest warrior in the galaxy.
Galacta Knight.
Trireme snapped back into reality, her arms right in the Gemtech as she accessed that feed, and her hands right up and touching the warrior's mask as she gemtech dissolved around him. There was searing pain tearing across her arms and head and she couldn't help but let out a scream as she realized just how messed up this situation was and how she realized that if she didn't release him, Tommy, her Anthilopus rival and enemy would have done the same. THIS was his trump card.
Galacta Knight's eyes slowly opened sleepily as he focused right on the young Princess, who gaped at him in turn as they both fell to the ground the pink crystals shattered around them. Trireme flinched back, away from the warrior as he brandished his lance and his shield, his eyes narrowed at the young princess.
"What have I done..." She whispered in horror.
"Princess?! PRINCESS!" She could hear those in her feed panicking.
"I-I'm okay." She whispered through her gemtech, but in her mind, she knew she wasn't going to be okay for long. She had to find a way out of this situation and fast, but... she didn't WANT to seal him back up. He was sealed against his will in this gemtech because he was so good at what he did, the Halcandrans feared him; an incident happened that he got put all the blame on and not the clockwork stars for their destructive potential. Galacta Knight could take out a planet or two... Novas could take on entire sectors of Gamble Galaxy.
"Sir Galacta Knight-" Trireme started before she backed the hell away out of an overhead strike. She pulled out her Solara sword in defense but that seemed to enrage him even further as he extended his wings, launching at her with his shield. Trireme rolled out of the way, her sword connecting and crashing against his shield.
"Listen to me!" Trireme hissed, "I'm not going to fight you!"
Galacta Knight ignored her request and dove straight down, his speed unparalleled as he sent out a row of swords at her. Trireme bit her lip as she backflipped out of the way, the swords missing and the rest meeting with the five shards of gemtech floating behind her for defense. She glared up at him.
"My name is... My name is Princess Trireme and I command you to STOP!" Finally, there was a lull in the quick battle and she could feel her legs shaking. Galacta Knight seemed to ponder this a moment, before he lashed out. She was having enough of this. Pulling out her sword, she crashed it against his lance and then used her leg to deliver the most powerful kick she could muster to his shield, cracking it in the process. Galacta Knight's eyes flickered over to his shield; he seemed almost impressed that she managed to pull that off.
"What is she doing?" She could hear a quiet, gentle voice from the other side of the feed.
"I didn't come here to challenge you to a fight. I released you because.... because..." She had no idea why, "... I felt compelled to. You were trapped in there, and there was no reason for you to be despite your strength. You're the greatest warrior in the galaxy, right?" Trireme felt desperate and weakening against the struggle between keeping his lance away, and to keep her weight forward to keep his shield from pushing her away as well. She gritted her teeth, tears coming out of her eyes as she thought back to what she saw, "You have destructive potential, yeah, but you're a knight, why don't you act like one and help a damsel for once in your life?!"
Finally she gave in as he pushed his shield forward, tipping her head over heels backwards off the podium. Trireme rolled over, her eyes looking up at the warrior who extended out his wings and flew down, landing right before her. His narrowed eyes eventually relaxed and he gave her an odd look.
"... You are the first individual who has ever spoke to me since I was sealed like that." Galacta Knight finally spoke up. There was some muttering on the feed.
"So that's what he sounds like. I expected a deeper voice than Sir Meta Knight's," She heard a knight speak up.
"Shut up, the Princess is doing something!" Someone else was putting him in his place, though. Galacta Knight glanced over to the voices through the feed, obviously scrutinizing the advantages and disadvantages of the situation.
"I will comply to your request, but once this threat is quelled, the deal is off... Princess." Galacta Knight dropped his guard and put up his lance against his back.
"Thank you," Trireme took a deep breath, standing up shakily, "But please, don't call me princess."
"Sure thing, Princess." He then turned to the exit.
