You could hear the water in your bathroom running as you walk up the steps to your room with a glas and food in hand. You open the door, set down everything on the desk and look around the room.

"Murphy?" You call out even though you already knew where he was, though you didn't know what exactly he was doing in your bathroom that required to turn on the shower for more than 10 minutes. You had just been downstairs to get something to eat and he had managed to do something stupid in those few minutes. You could literally feel it. It was Murphy after all.

"Hey are you in there? What are you doing?"

The door suddenly swings open, banging against the wall with a loud thud. Murphy steps out with nothing than a bath towel wrapped around his waist. His hair is still wet,  water running down his face and chest until it drips down to the floor. You stare for a bit, unable to look away.

"Like what you're seeing?" He asks with his usual smirk which finally makes you react and avert your eyes.

"No I'm not! And what do you think you're doing? My parents are coming over in 10 minutes so please put some clothes on."

"Really? I can't remember you saying that."

"I told you like 20 times, so get your lazy ass moving and put something on. I won't have you running around like that."

"Why not?"

"Because..." You're about to answer when you see his smug face and stop. He loved to argue and so did you. Normally. Not so much when your parents where on their way and a proclitically naked boy was standing in your room, "Just do what I say..."

“Take one more step and I won’t be responsible for what I do next.” You hiss at the boy in front of you.

“That would be more threatening if you weren't the one who's shot and lying bleeding on the ground.” Murphy retorts and you glare up at him. Whatever he was up to it sure wasn't something good. You trusted no one who fell from the sky besides his people had done enough damage.

“I just want to help you.” He says while rolling his eyes.

“I don't need your help space boy.”

“I think you do earth girl or you'll bleed out very soon.”

“I'll get help when I make it to my village.”

“You won't make it that far on your own.”

“I said I don't need your help!”

He doesn't listen and comes closer anyway, suddenly picking you up bridal style and starts walking, “This the right direction to your village?”

“Like I'd tell you.” You struggle around trying to get back on your feet but all you manage to do is hurt yourself in the progress, so you finally give up, pointing in the right direction.

16. “You make me feel like I’m not good enough.”

"Why do you have to be such an ass all the time?" You scream at Murphy after he had said something really mean to you again. You didn't knew why he was like that. He wasn't nice to anyone but he was particular shitty to you.

"I'm just..." He stopped and frowned, "Are you crying?" There was irritation in his voice and he looked almost sorry.

"No!" You sobbed and crossed your arms.

“I like you but you make me feel like I’m not good enough. You're a much better person than I am, so keeping you away from me like this was the logical thing to do but...god stop crying I'm sorry."  

37. “Twins? We’re…we’re having twins?!”

“Does he know about the baby?” Abby asks you when you visit the infirmary to let her check on you. You laugh and look at her like she was out of her mind.

"We're talking about Murphy here. No way I'm telling him."

"I think he'll eventually notice." She says amused.

You sigh, "I will sooner or later...rather later."

"I think you're having twins." Abby says and you look up at her in shock. Like the whole thing hadn't been bad enough.

You walk back to your room, not entirely sure what to do with this new information. When you open the door you see Murphy sitting on your bed, smirking at you.

"You don't look too happy to see me." He states, "What happened?"

"Why do you think something happened?"

"Just a thought."

You sigh and look at him, "I have to tell you something."

"Alright spill it I can handle it."

"I'm pregnant and I'm getting twins." You just blurt out, there was no gentle way to say this anyway.

Murphy stands up from the bed with a blank face. You were really scared of what he might say but this silence was even worse, you realized. He comes over to you and suddenly grabs you by the waist and lifts you into the air, spinning you around in a circle with him.
