Many of you have been wondering whatever happened to Dr. Millard Rausch after he appeared at WGON studios in Dawn of the Dead. Did he survive the early waves of the Zombie Apocalypse? Did he simply remain at the WGON studios forever? 

Zombie Logic reporter Thomas L. Vaultonburg has gotten the exclusive story after interviewing Dr. Millard Rausch himself. It turns out that shortly after the city of Pittsburgh was overrun by zombies, Dr. Rausch escaped on a small private plane and went to Vermont, where he met up with several other intellectuals at a compound they had jointly built after the first Zombie Outbreak of 1968. Many of those experts were asked to join the scientific team that was portrayed in the film Day of the Dead, but all passed on the invitation. 

The members of the compound eventually came to refer to themselves as The Hall of Bad Dudes embracing the double meaning that they were the only ones bad enough to survive the Zombie Apocalypse of 1978 and that they were probably damned to hell for not sharing their expertise to help others to survive. 

Rumors that Dr. Rausch returned to the Florida State University are false. His friend and colleague, Dr. Henry Wolfsburg, presided over his wedding to fellow scientist and supermodel Vanessa Vandenhovel in 1981. It is estimated, but never confirmed, that the population at Camp Zombie Logic eventually reached 150 individuals, each an expert in his or her own field of study. several times the camp was quickly and successfully defended against marauding bands of survivors, even privately funded small armies on behalf of government officials and wealthy individuals who knew about the existence of the camp.
