I should not be surprised I enjoyed Zack Snyder's take on Odin so much, given that he's adapted Watchmen (2009), one of the most faithful comic book movie adaptations.
I've always pictured Odin as a Dr. Manhattan-esque figure. Zack Snyder did a very good job adapting Watchmen.
