“I don’t know, d’you think the world could’ve handled that?” It would be inaccurate to say she’d mellowed out side college, given the whole supervillain thing, but she’d been a different kind of wild back then, wheeling between potential projects, searching for focus. And she’d smoked a lot of weed. 

 Ray smiled helplessly, eyebrows raised as she glanced at him over her shoulder. 

 It wasn’t that he didn’t trust her, not at all. But sure, it made him a little nervous when that glint appeared in her eyes, one he usually saw in Egon right before he embarked on some weird experiment (and which he probably ought to be talked out of).

Lilith barely contained a sigh as she tensed at the mortal’s easy dismissal of the….gravity of what the Witching Hour, all of them in fact, actually meant. To Jillian Holtzmann everything was an…experiment, an experience, there was nothing to be met with reverie or fear. At least, not as far as Lilith herself had been able to witness. In another life, another realm perhaps, the….supernatural-obsessed scientist might have made a worthy witch, one unabashed by a coven’s expectations or a Council’s rulings, one who’s…experimentations could lead to more power, better spells. 

“One of them,” Lilith qualified, “Midnight or three in the morning are the two most..,commonly used. When the curtain between worlds draws thin…” She looked at Holtzmann curiously, “You’ve never felt it? Never woke up…inexplicably in your bed as the clock turns three…?”

Hm... in general, I think it would be nice to explore more of who Dewey is — as a person, not just as the guardian of the Rift. True, guiding those who pass through the Rift takes up a lot of his time and care. It’s a major part of his identity. But Dewey is also a person himself, with his own thoughts and fears and relationships outside the shop. Even he forgets that sometimes, given how much he dedicates himself to caring for visitors (and other people in general).

20. favorite cryptid(s)?

Oh gosh, I appreciate and support all cryptids. I think the Jersey Devil and the Chupacabra are really fascinating. I have to support Bigfoot since I live in the Pacific Northwest. Hmm definitely Nessie and Tessie. Shuck is pretty neat as well (spooky dog!).

Lilith barely refrained from rolling her eyes at the question. Instead she took a deep breath which, inevitably, became a heavy sigh as she…forced herself to answer.

“Well, apples have never…really been my thing” Their association with the garden and with Eve, meant Lilith only ever really indulged in an apple when it was part of a spell or ritual….it was, after all an essential part of the Winter Solstice and of Samhain…which, she supposed, was the reason why, in some vaguely related way, mortals were so…obsessed with them around Halloween. “But the mortal habit of covering them in caramel that is hard as stone has never been something that I’ve understood or found appealing. I have had candies though,” She added. “The ordinary kind. The ones served in a bowl” And Lilith had found herself to particularly enjoy M&Ms….
