I did some roblox today with @browa123​ and some friends from discord. This time we had 4 people and man was it more chaotic.

RUNDOWN ON THEM FOR NEW LISTENERS:

Dr. Doctor is a D-grade supervillain known mostly for doing grotesque experiments on themself to attain their own vision of beauty. They are a shitty and weak interloper on the superpowered scene and would be in jail forever if they weren’t a legitimately brilliant and skilled genetic and cosmetic surgeon who excels at keeping metahumans alive post-fights and looking amazing. So they tend to get busted out of jail to do Monsieur Abattoir, Master Of Bloodshed’s scar reduction surgery or whatever.

their dark secret is that they do in fact have superpowers from their own experiments and they are MORTIFIED that it results in them turning into a huge monster. Despite the fact that this could elevate them to a genuine threat instead of a horny self-obsessed loser, they’re too up their own ass to utilize their mutation based solely on aesthetic dislike. 

facts:

-has four arms. the second pair were added on, obviously, and it was complications from integrating a second pair of vat-grown, not-genetically-human limbs that eventually led to their mutation 

-exclusively wears high heels, and no they are not as good at acrobatics in them as Scarlett Johansson. They’ve broken at ankle at least once fleeing from authorities

-they have a perfectly pleasant older (by 12 years) brother named Harold, who is a nice balding man with a walrus mustache who works in some kind of law enforcement. They both pretend the other doesn’t exist

-the kind of person who will kidnap you to steal your teeth, but then keep dropping their pen and leaning down to pick it up so they can show off their butt as you’re strapped to a crusty murder table. but if you for some reason hit on them they’d be terrified because they’re basically an incel

Short. Sometimes I draw them with taller proportions to push a particular pose/feel (and I suppose there are situations where they would be low on the regulating chemicals that keep them human and could actually physically be larger due to partial transformation), but their canon human size is very petite. With the extra monster arms detached they only weigh about ~130 pounds.

so in answer to “What’s Doc been up to lately?”, the answer is: turning into a BEEFED OUT MONSTER. why not go whole hog on my most self-indulgent character, yknow? Design isn’t final, but I think the basics are present.

It’s possible for Doc to suppress their monstrous form with chemical counteragents, something they do as MUCH as possible because the idea of not looking all trim and slick and done up in impractical heels is a fucking travesty to them. Suppressing it chemically is a bit stressful to the system, though, so Doc sometimes has to grudgingly take a break and be a monster for a while as their body recovers.
