Here's the thing I love about Dr Chris Robert.
He's this fairly normal person (he's a highly regarded scientist and Yale professor who won the MacArthur Fellowship, but we got vampires and witches here), and it's just so satisfying when he walks in and goes "Yeah, this is absolute BS. Reality does not align with this. I think this is actually what's happening."
Probably because he had to deal with this sort of thing all the time.

Today in therapy, we talked about the idea of control over things and my lack of it, particularly on diabetes and gender and food and weight. I'm not sure we made much progress but I think it helped.
We also talked about the tavistock vs bell case and how that was affecting me, and the arguments about the rights of trans people. I do sometimes feel like I'm educating Dr Chris more than he's helping me, but it was still good to talk about.
He agreed to write my GRC letter as well, which was very very good of him.
At the end his next patient interrupted us like she always does and he said he'd speak to her about it. Again which is good because it's very annoying.
