Dr. Brain (Spoiler Free Review)
How can this drama have only six episodes and become crazier every time I tune it?
After his child dies and wife goes into coma, brain scientist Se Won tries everything to sync in with the dead person’s brain.
As one of his tries were a success he wants to do it more but what kind of information he will get to know about his family...
A few first episodes were quite slow and boring, for me, though I know that some would like to disagree with that.
However, I was still very curious about his wife and what happened to their kid as according to her their child was still alive.
That curiosity and knowledge that it’s only six episodes kept me going and though it got interesting in the end I still think that this drama is absolutely insane.Â
Let’s be honest who would think of trying to get cat’s memories if not an insane scientist.
The characters were great, I really liked to see the growth in Se Won as he got more people in him and seeing him going from emotionless to someone who feels everything is very interesting.
Personally, I wish we could get more of Park Hee Soon, he was in the first half but I needed more of him in the second.Â
But differently from him, I don’t think we needed police involved in all of this, they felt a bit useless most of the time but I won’t complain more as Seo Ji Hye looked great as always.
As you see I cared more for who is playing the characters than characters themselves but it’s not my fault you got a great cast with a bit boring drama.
I wouldn’t really recommend watching it, not the worst drama I have watched it’s just a little bit weird and boring but if you pass the first three episodes you might get more interested after that.
Or as vice versa, you will be invested in those three episodes and later boring, there is no in-between.
