This is Theo, now almost 3 years old. He has now been on the AR for 2 years!! He is such a lovely wee boy that lives life with great gusto, nothing holds him back and he is pretty much unaware of his eczema. He developed severe eczema at 3 months and by 5 months old he was being wet wrapped twice daily. It was so hard on a little baby to stay still for all that time while I put the the layers of creams on and then the bandages. The itch for him was awful.  We finally heard about Dr Aron through the Telegraph article that my Uncle sent up. And at 11 months old he started the AR. His skin has been so stable for well over a year. He has a couple of spots on his side that pop up every now and then so I apply a tiny dab of compound on them once a week, and he has a couple of tricky fingers but that's pretty much it.  Life is brilliant. Thank you Dr Aron and Kate for giving my little boy a very normal life (photos and video below), we feel so lucky. xx

My son’s awaited relief from severe eczema came in 2008 after we contacted Dr Aron. To say it was a miracle is a word I wouldn’t change because that’s what happened to our family. After starting Dr Arons regime my son’s personality shined through and he wasn’t too late to enjoy his childhood. This blog is going to be about me because I don’t want to embarrass my son by my blog and he’s 16 now so if he wants to ever do a blog that’s up to him. To be honest though he can’t remember those dark days and I try to forget. Once my life became family life and didn’t evolve around the care of my son I found that I had missed a huge part of my daughters life. She was such a sweetheart that I didn’t realise we had grown apart and she never complained once but we have made up for it ever since and she continues to make me proud and will be turning 21 this year. My best friend. Also I married my children’s father after being together for 25 years. We had some tough times while Lukes eczema was severe. He worked away alot and came home to screaming, tears and me in an exhausted state but he helped to relieve the stress. Life wasn’t easy. My poor mum was my rock when my husband couldn’t be here. Anyway moving on my husband helped me to become a member on facebook. Computers just weren’t my thing so it took a while before I became confident enough to use it. I never knew how much my life was about to change. I searched eczema sites and followed parents distressing stories on their children’s eczema. I wasn’t the most confident person then but would chip in with help and advice from my own experience and I would advise them to google Dr Aron and talk about how he changed our lives. This is where it got difficult, I was one person and there were many others saying try this and that so no one really took notice of this parent or a Dr they hadn’t heard of. I felt invisible at times. I was like HELLO, I’M HERE! Some parents showed interest but then others would chip in as soon as I mentioned that steroids were used. I was made to feel like I had been poisoning my child. I got to a stage that I was scared to mention my miracle cure for fear of fighting my cause. I didn’t want anyone’s family to go through the unnessary suffering when I knew there was a solution to controlling eczema. After many months I saw someone in America had used Dr Aron for their child with amazing results too. I wrote his name down for future reference. Then while in a discussion on a thread, a mum who lived near to where Dr Aron practiced said she was going to make an appointment to see this Dr Aron. Her daughter’s eczema also underwent an amazing transformation too. It pushed me on to help others and with backup now our case for Dr Aron was stronger but we still got into heated discussions and we even chatted privately saying that we weren’t going to mention Dr Aron anymore because people were just too skeptical and argumentative. We was just trying to help but on fb your not a real person, just a name and mentioning a private doctor they just looked the other way. I think this went on for a couple of years and eventually someone here and someone there listened. I wrote all their names down, what site they were on etc etc. Then a mum on a thread decided she was going to try Dr Aron and I asked her to keep in touch so I could check how things were going. Then came the idea let’s have a discussion group. So she created it within a matter of minutes. Within months she had done a telegraph article and pow …Dr Aron was recognised worldwide. Our members rocketed and that is the story of my involvement with our Dr Aron treatment discussion group fb site. I never thought that my son’s life, my families life, the suffering we went through, would lead to such happiness and relief to so many. I have finally met Dr Aron and his wife kate. Emotional moments in my life and times I will remember with fond memories. It was such an honour. I have met the most amazing parents and patients of Dr Aron who understand exactly what I went through . It’s all a bit overwhelming at times. I realise why I was given eczema to deal with. I always wondered why me but now I know! Thanks for reading my story and I hope to continue to support those on their eczema journeys. There’s no cure but there’s no need to suffer or let it get out of control if you’ve found Dr Aron because he’s the next best thing!

6 months with Dr Aron.

Now 5 months into the treatment. His skin is great and he is one application a day. I just have a normal wee rascally boy who does all those naughty things that little boys should do –  gets muddy, plays with the tap, stick things in the loo and post surprises around the house to find at a later date. And best of all he gets to wear pyjamas every night! Now all I want is for all those little babies that suffers this hideous disease to find Dr Aron and be able to wear pyjamas too! 

I could bathe dress him without him scratching himself raw, we could play games and laugh together, and he slept through the night… finally.
