If anyone out there is interested, here is a fragment from the dps x stranger things one shot I'm writing (basically the season 4 "Dear Billy" episode but make it dps)
Careful of the spoilers of S4 of Stranger Things!!
Todd didnât tell anyone when he first heard the clock.
Of course, he knew what that meant. That cheerleader girl, Chrissy, heard the clock and died less than a day after. The school chronicle boy, Spaz, heard the clock and died less than a day after. And now Todd heard the clock.
Subconsciously, he had known what was coming, even before it happened. He hadnât been well since [redacted] died in that cursed mall, saving Elâs life. His friends knew Todd was grieving, and they gave him much needed distance, even though it killed them to be so close to their best friend, yet so far away. They couldnât stand seeing Todd in such a state, blaming himself for something he had no control over, blaming himself for his brotherâs sacrifice. They knew what was going on inside Toddâs head: they knew he thought it should have been him. It shouldâve been him who died in the Starcourt Mall.
I wanted to post it on the 1 year anniversary of part 1 premiering, but I only have like 400 words written, and other fics needing my attention first, so it will probably take a while :((
