"Probably. Cream and Scott are still here."

"Nothing. Did you all eat dinner?"

"Okay, I'll order something for the three of you."
"Make that four. CLine is on his way."
"Okay."
"Thanks."
"Yeah, sure."
"Babe,"
"Hmm?"
"Happy anniversary."
Silence. You're already on the process of being mad at him and about to order online all the spicy food that you could find - since you knew how he's not a fan of spicy foods.
All because you thought he forgot that tomorrow marked the 2nd year of both of you dating.
You sighed with the intention of him hearing it over the phone.
"I love you."
"I know. I love you too, you idiot."
"I'm your idiot." Christian laughed.
You laughed as well when you heard how Scott reacted from the background.
"Text me once you received the delivery, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am. See you tomorrow, yeah?"
"Okay. I'll be staying here on your place since Lori doesn't want to go outside."
"Good. I'll be home before you knew it. Rest well, Babe."
