Tia lounged around outside by the pond, digging her toes in the sand and counting the bottles of liquor that was still left behind from the party a while ago.Â
Five in all she could see, perhaps others in the water or buried in the sand. A pity that, if no one cleaned it up soon, she'd do it herself. Maybe later today.Â
She sighed and fell back, sprawling in the sand and breathing in the air. This was probably as close as she was going to get to being back home; near this only piece of water on this hot day.Â
Hmm, she missed it, more and more as the days were going by. Perhaps she'd leave soon, for just a little while, and visit home. Check up on the shop and friends and go visit her mama and mamou.Â
At the sound of footsteps, she broke out of her thoughts and glanced up. "Hello," she grinned.Â
