Bamburgh Links to Seahouses

Dropped a car at Seahouse before parking for free again at Bamburgh Links. Then a family walk along the sands to Seahouses. Butties on benches on the outskirts before a mooch round the shops. K & I walked back to the car, climbed a sand mountain and then had coffee/ice-cream at Harkness.

Embleton - Craster

Dropped a car off at Craster and eventually parked at Embleton golf course. M&D and Ian joined us for the outward leg. 

We bumped into Helen en-route!

Crab sandwiches for the majority at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster accompanied by a rainbow. Then a spot of early Christmas shopping in the gallery. We bumped into Helen & Jo again down in the car-park and then K & I walked back to Embleton and were rewarded with more rainbows and beautiful light.

Saturday 8th September 2018

Bamburgh Links - Harkness Rocks

A good start to the walk when no-one wanted money for the car-park! T&Cs sat near Harkness Rocks then butties later, a little bit further along, after we had retrieved the car. A short stroll after lunch along to the golf club. Sausage casserole and Auntie Barbara’s birthday pudding for tea back at Doxford!

Doxford Hall, Northumberland is a fantastic venue with plenty of options when it comes to portraits of the new Bride and Groom.  It has wonderful dramatic landscape as a backdrop if you want, but I often prefer to instead focus on the comfort, familiarity and openness of the couples relationship.
