Anywayyy I was thinking about Loki recently and decided that I wanted to try doing some semi-realistic rendering and all that and then I remembered the Loki TV series and ran with it specifically the image right below-
I think I want to work more on expressions next while also continuing to practice with rendering because (though I'm happy with the result) I think I could do better with getting the expression across. Gotta make him look a little more,, sad? Wet cat?
Also here's the speedpaint too! I ended up forgetting to start the recording until I had half the flats down OTL if anyone knows how to make it so that Clip Studio auto records please let me know

pose reference is harridana on instagram I had to go on a hunt to find the og person sdkhfoiehfge waugh vv
but anyway I'm trying to practice drawing using references purely from sight and feel rather than constant comparison. Specifically focusing on drawing the figure as a whole while keeping negative spaces in mind instead of obsessing over it being exact proportion-wise. I had a lot of fun with it tbh, more than I anticipated!!
Though part of me thinks it's probably because it's Ed.
