Full-color commission for @mullet231 Welcome ruthless Briza from The Legend of Drizzt! I was asked to design new outfits for all tree sisters, so here is the first one! Her outfit was very inspired by the design form the comic book. I just changed some things, so the armour would make more sense, and the whole outfit in general. Giving her a dress and pants, so the poor girl doesn't have to wear metal parts right on her naked skin, ouch! D'x And looked more like a strong, dominant woman than a sex doll xP Also added a spider motif for our Lloth worshipper! It was actually my first venture into that kind of thing as well lmao and I didn’t know anything about it except that the artwork looked amazing, which was enough to get me interested tbh

43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess

I try REALLY HARD to make good-aligned OCs but I just…don’t love them as much. It’s so much more fun to watch my asshole characters fuck themselves over through their own actions. Character flaws that aren’t really flaws are a lot harder for me to think of any interesting character development for. Like if a character is always antagonistic towards everything, obviously something has to change or they won’t last very long? But a character everyone reacts positively towards won’t be challenged as much, I think.

I can totally see how people can feel this way. I can’t say I’m perfect when it comes to talking about the books vs the show. And I’ve been told and sometimes have seen what issues you bring up here. It is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed and dealt with as the show gains more viewers (which I think is happening faster than the books are gaining readers for various reasons). 

To that effect, I think we can all do a bit better in making sure we’re more conscious and welcoming to show fans by a) tagging book spoilers, b) being more vague in our own discussions, c) letting people into our discussions, and d) letting show fans express themselves without jumping on them to correct them. I mean hell so much is different already, does the text mean that much more? I know I can do better, and I really plan to and want to.

This fandom has two camps in it that need to work together for it to succeed and for us to all have fun. So I think it’s on the book readers to make sure that we’re being welcoming to show watchers. Older fans to be welcoming to newer fans. We’re all here for the same reason, honestly.

Many people in the fandom are great when you talk to them. A lot of us are misunderstood in their intentions or words. I can understand how that is as someone who is often misunderstood. But there’s still so much work to be done. And I’m happy to spread the word and keep the doors open.

I was asked to design new outfits for all three sisters, and here is the third one x3 Mullet wanted to portrait her as the strongest and more fighter type sister, that’s why she got a full plate armour a sword and a mace! Full-color commission for @mullet231 Next sister, Vierna! Also from The Legend of Drizzt. I was asked to design new outfits for all three sisters, so here is the second one! She has a much different outfit than she used to have in a comic (not mentioning that all sisters had exactly the same outfit, lol), as Mullet saw her more in that “priestess look”. That’s why she got a pretty detailed and rich robes, that shows her position and her role! Full of spider motifs so no one would doubt who does she worship x> Hope you like this version of her!
