A book brilliantly narrated, with amazing world building, and characters so easy to fall in love with. Brandon Sanderson will never fail me when i want a GOOD fantasy read that has literally everything. Dragons, a complicated magic system, a talking rat, a brilliant planet design, immortal characters, scientific advancements, LAPTOPS that actually fit the narrative of a fantasy book... I could go on forever.

Tress, is a sixteen year old window-washer girl whose life revolves around a rock (island) surrounded by seas made of spores ready to kill at the slightest hint of water. She sets sail to rescue the man she loves after a ploy by his father that sent him into the domain of the Sorceress to be kidnapped for ransom. Her growth was one of the most wonderful things about this book, because we could actually witness her change thought by thought. It was surreal to read, especially as a person whose been through a very similar development in my life.
Then we have Hoid, the narrator whom i never knew i needed before. I don't know how i'm gonna enjoy reading other books without his detailed absurd metaphors every few sentences. I think he can become one of my favorite characters of the cosmere once i actually dive deeper into this world's lore.
Additionally, we got the most amazing bunch of sailors that got me invested in every bit of their interactions. I will not go into detail here because I'm trying to post less spoilery reviews. Butttt i can happily say that i got my GRAY PIRATE, and i loved every second of it.
I mean, i know i don't have to pitch it to cosmere fans, but the amount of referencing to other stories was amazingly done that i squealed at each one i recognised and the ones i didn't did not affect my understanding of the book.
All in all, an amazing book that i would definitely recommend to all fantasy lovers.

From the most recent viall interview i wonder if Camacho and Dougs are just hook up friends? Since Zab only shared hes with someone and Camacho didn't say anything. Love how Christopher is looking for balance in a relationship.
Nahhh Richard was for sure holding back. He didn't say he was single and I think he wanted to raise his hand that he was taken. He was being all smiley and bashful, but kept his mouth shut. I think he still has a hard time being honest about his feelings with the fans and feels he has to protect her, which he has a serious point about, seeing as both of Dougs Instagram accounts were hacked
Now for Chris? I love that he's seemed to mature so much in the past couple of years. He knows who he is, and he knows what kind of person he'd want to be in a serious relationship with. Just an observation. Emilia seemed to be very public with her relationship with Fer and now with Duki. Why was her relationship with Joel such a secret?? When i read stuff about Emilia and relationships nothing is mentioned about Joel.
I'm not really sure. It's possible that it was cause of Joel's contract, he couldn't straight up say he was in a relationship. Over the years, none of the boys have ever said that yes, they're in a relationship, even when it's obvious they are. Like I'd say Richard and Dougs is the most serious relationship out of any of the relationships we've seen the boys in, yet in interviews, Richard is still saying he's single. I feel like it might be part of their contract to give the illusion of availability to their fans. Joel also never straight up said he was dating Emilia, and Emilia denied that she had been with Joel, but it was all super obvious. Idk about her and Fer, but Duki is kind of new on the music scene, right? And with that being said, him dating Emilia will be good publicity for him. Emilia is still not all that big yet, so her confirming having a relationship with someone who also isn't very big yet is probably not gonna have a negative effect to either of their careers
