Hey guys! How's it going?. . For this Whisky Wednesday I am starting a series of whisky sample reviews 🙂. . First up is the Douglas Laing single cask 8yo Blair Athol 🥃. Many thanks to @whisky.addicted for the sample!😊 🥃. . Here is my review:. . Nose: Sweet malt, vanilla, raisins, forest fruit. Fruity. . Palate: Again sweet malt. Cocoa powder, black coffee, shortbread, fruit cake. . Finish: Bitter at first but then it sweetens up with raisins and forest fruit. . It's a very good scotch, a bit on the young side but delicious nonetheless 🙂🥃. .
