we're up to frame 39, only 161 to go.
This would probably go a lot faster if I didn't have to watch my laptop like hawk so it doesn't shut off. Settings says it's set to never turn off or sleep while plugged in, reality says otherwise.
Anyone else love holding down the arrow keys to watch every few frames added how much more of the animation is made. Just me?

I started this so long ago and only just finished it. feels like every time I finish exams I either start or finish a blender tutorial, and the one that always comes back like William Afton is of course the titular doughnut tutorial.
Great day for me to also find out there's a fifth one out now!
Guess that'll be my plans for my next semester break. Being a Biomed student is creativity crushing during the term. Making cute models feels like a betrayal to the studying I could be doing instead. Do I study though? of course not.
I've started the animation render. Only 200 frames this time but we're 4 hours in and only 23 frames done. My computer is not as good as it used to be in my old games art days. Might be time to upgrade, in this economy though? might need to sell a kidney or something.
How many days before the render is done?
I have done the first and third doughnut tutorials from blender guru so I thought I'd go back and complete the second one.
It’s been a mad rush these past few days trying to export and render out everything I can from Maya before my student license expires which will be any day now. Honestly I’m surprised it hasn’t expired already. I’m only now just becoming comfortable with Maya so it’s annoying to have to switch to another software. I did the blender guru doughnut tutorial (as is a rite of passage at this point) I think five maybe six years ago now and haven’t touched blender since. Everything I learned is gone into the ether. I opened it up and couldn’t even figure out for myself how to pan the camera. So that’s gonna be fun.
 But it’s forced me to dig through all my old uni files so there will be a fair few things to post for a while. Content sorted. I’ll post things in little batches together so look forward to that nonsense.
