I was able to get out this morning for sunrise at Doubling Point. It was low tide, so I was able to get out about ankle deep in the Kennebec River so I could get this reflection as the sun rose. Bath Iron Works is just upriver behind me on the opposite bank. This is such a beautiful spot on the river- quiet and peaceful, with an expansive view of the river and the woods on the bank which envelop the keepers house. The weather report looked promising when I woke up around 4am- I'm glad it actually delivered! Last week I headed out to a spot and the partly cloudy report actually ended up overcast 😞. This time, it was perfect.
