Still Book VI thoughts no one asked for:
Uh oh, Ash dies when she uses her power too much? That's such a shame. Y'know if Embla's fine just nuking a bunch of random Askran towns you would think Askr would have the decency to come down and revert it, but I guess if that's the case we wouldn't have plot. I'm also half convinced at this point that Ash is secretly Askr and possibly doesn't know that.
I like angry Al. We didn't see much of him since Book III but I like when Al realizes he doesn't give a shit about anything.
Sorry, Bruno. Though I'd like to help you save your sister in ten days, every story chapter drops every month. Looks like she's a lost cause. Sucks to be her.
