Mapping 1,000 song titles
We’ve previously written about music related designers Dorothy who are back with a World Song Map. The beautiful crafted poster features more than 1,000 songs which are used to make up continents, countries, cities, oceans and seas, rivers and other landmarks. There are, of course, a host of classic UK artists featured on the map.
Dorothy have also collated the 1,006 songs into a monster Spotify playlist.
Available in standard and special edition (pictured below) versions from their online shop.

Blueprint tells history of electronic music
A wonderful Blueprint design which tells the story of electronic music from the 1800s to the present day has been made by London designers Dorothy.
As reported in Wired magazine, the designs are based on the blueprint for a theremin from the 1950s and link over 200 “electronic music innovators” connecting them through common links (a style, instrument, or influence, for example).
The results is a staggeringly beautiful chart of the history of electronic music featuring all the ‘pioneers’ including Léon Theremin, Bob Moog, Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Brian Eno, Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin.
The print is available to buy from Dorothy, although there are currently delays due to overwhelming demand.
