@cardigaen — " how long do you think we'll be stuck in here? "
dorian exhaled slowly before he shrugged, " i don't know. they'll figure out we're gone eventually? " jack was probably worried sick when he couldn't get a hold of her but there was nothing they could do but stay put. the snow kept them indoors and it had probably taken down a telephone line too, which made them unable to call. " stop worrying, this isn't a bad place to die. " dorian couldn't help but tease.

“Well, look at who’s still alive and kicking. Surely thought you had become zombie munch in all that mayhem.” It would be a cold day in hell before Ángel expressed the real concern that had gripped him when he hadn’t been able to find Dorian in the mess. His sire was quite nearly the only one that would ever receive the amount of love that the younger vampire could muster up.

Onegai My Melody Sukkiri hasn’t been translated past the first 6 episodes so I’m going to give the highlights (or... synopses, as it turned out this time) of each episode, starting with No. 7.
Mr. Fish (his real name escapes me): Kuromi, what do you intend to do if you become Dark Princess?
Kuromi: Dunno.
Mr. Fish: *collapses in shock from learning that Kuromi agreed to this without any understanding of what it meant*
Kuromi: I mean, yer askin’ that, but I ain’t never seen anythin’ like a “Dark Princess,” so how’m I t’know what it is?
He then somehow makes her Dark Princess on the spot (I thought it was just a vision at first, but it became clear that it was not); she sits on a throne in a castle with Rumi and Dorian bowing before her and Baku beside her dressed like a prince, with Mari Land’s military backing them up.
Of course, it doesn’t take long for Kuromi to adjust; with an “Ohoho!” she proclaims that the kingdom is hers now, and it shall henceforth be named Kuromi Land. She also proclaims Baku the new cabinet minister, to his delight (and Dorian’s dismay). "Of course,” Kuromi tells Dorian, “You’re fired.”
Her next step is to make all men hunks by decree, which causes them all to have hair and clothes like Hiiragi. Most of them are happy about their magic makeover; Dorian, Flat, and Risu/Squirrel are visibly upset, though. Piano is so astonished that she speaks intelligibly for once: “Pokkiri-baa!” Basically, “In the blink of an eye-baah!” (Except for Dorian, they all were at some kind of outdoor dance event, so we can see that the effect is on all the men in the country, not just the ones near Kuromi). Kuromi then takes great pleasure in bossing her new army of hunks around (getting them to fan her, bring her juice, etc).
After that we’re taken to Rumi’s point of view; she’s very concerned, and we see a vision of the earth being overtaken by wisps of dark energy.
The people within the dark zones seem pretty happy, though, engaging in their selfish desires.
Queen Rumi recruits Uta and My Melody to stop Kuromi, and they agreed, though tbh I don’t see why. Giving My Melody’s guy friends a haircut they don’t like is not nearly as bad as imprisoning a child, so this regime is doing a better job than Rumi’s so far (even though Rumi did get the popular vote). We also see that Kuromi’s 5 and Baku’s whole family are enjoying a big feast, which is heartening.
The queen goes to confront Kuromi, who defeats her by thrusting dark energy at her; the dark energy puts her in a fantasy of a much-cooler-than-real-life Zou/Elephant declaring that she’s not her only love. She’s so into it that she no longer puts up a fight. A bloodless coup!
Unfortunately, Uta and My Melo show up to defeat Kuromi. Hilariously, the helper My Melody summons this time is... a younger, smaller version of Kuromi who still adores My Melo, and tells her bigger self that it’s wrong to do “bad things" and punches her over and over with her tiny fists.
Kuromi (internally): It doesn’t hurt at all, but my heart’s in pain.
She shouts in frustration, scaring Smol Kuromi, who goes to My Melo for comfort. Kuromi is now so upset that she takes out her Kuromi note, but before she can write anything, My Melo rips out a page and uses it to wipe Smol Kuromi’s tears. This makes present Kuromi cry, which in turn makes My Melody cry, realizing her mistake. Kuromi then produces an Anger Seed or whatever it’s called, which means technically she won. The episode ends with Kuromi resolved to become Dark Princess for good and Uta and My Melo determined to “save” Mari Land.
