“Hi- my name’s Gerald. I need a library card.” Gerry had found himself in the library, in order to find his friend, who hadn’t been answering his texts within the last bit, about getting food. All of the classes that he assisted with were done for the day (he had gone to all of them, a formerly rare occurrence that was now happening regularly). And so Gerry thought, why the hell not, let’s go to the library. “I’ve never been in here before. S’quiet, ya know?”

     His quick dismissal was a relief, allowing her to let out the breath she’d been holding. Her body relaxed as she straightened up, smiling up at him. She was slow to trust, even when someone was merely trying to help. And this place was full of others wanting to help one another, a weird and alien phenomenon she wasn’t quite used to yet.

Fenris walked through the somewhat familiar streets of the city, his hands in fists at his sides. Today was like every other day-- He would get stopped by a stranger that would ask about his ears, hair, tattoos, or clothing. It was getting old. He ground his teeth together and closed his eyes, speeding up slightly.

He, of course, eventually opened his eyes, but was a tad too late. He met with the other’s solid chest, grunting and stepping back to gain his balance. The elf’s eyebrows furrowed as he looked up to the man he had run into.

It wasn’t that he was upset-- It was that the emotion that seemed to show itself the most on his face was anger.

“Sorry about that.”
