I only have about 140ish, which is fantastic! And I love you all. I am not sure why you're here if I'm brutally honest - I post a lot of bitter, flagrant, egregiously honest opinions and thoughts lol - but I still appreciate you so much. It is quite the comfort to see the same few people pop up in my notifications regularly despite knowing how....well, feral, for lack of a better word lmao, I can be.
I just really want this future post to reach an audience. In the wake of the worker liberation/antiworker movements, I really, really don't want "gig jobs" to be forgotten as just "well of course they're bad" because there's so much more nuance to it than that. I really want to know that there's more people who will hear those thoughts than just...me.

As someone who works two jobs (electrical engineering, and doordash) I really really like doordashing better. It feels less stressful. And I know it’s a side gig, but I wish I could do it full time. And maybe I would feel differently if I did it 8 hours a day every day, but working 8 hours of engineering and then 3-4 hours of doordash a day (6-8 on Saturday), doordashing is easier to me. I like riding with my windows down. I like blasting music and following a gps. It’s just, freeing. I don’t know.
The only thing I hate is when the apartment complex has stairs that are open to the air (terrified of heights and open space makes it worse)
