Last week I trained an AI (Looking Glass) on old art of Neopets. Below are its attempts to create new pets based on what it "learned" from looking at all that old art. enjoy :^)

was rooting around in my pictures folders and noticed this wooloo/dubwool hybrid/subspecies/variations thing i had mostly finished, and apparently forgot about. i think i was going to add shading and some more variation in the linework but whatever. the rapidash one is the most unfinished out of the four, and the evolved form never went past a messy sketch.
a whole bunch of ai-generated "___-dragons". a lot of VQGAN + CLIP produced images make no sense visually (unless you pay for google colab pro and can use more demanding settings) but are pretty to look at and make great inspiration for art. feel free to use however you want

2-3. very early iteration and much later iteration of "vaporwave-dragon"
4. "kelp-dragon"
5. "fern-dragon"
6-7. "tibetan mastiff-dragon" and "borzoi-dragon"
8-10. "peacock-dragon" iterations 135, 765, and 1065 (final)
AI-Generated Neopets v2
went back and made even more AI-generated neopets, this time with a couple improvements over my first try. trained it on twice as many images (2 basic colors for each species, 1 of the images flipped horizontally), trained it for WAY less time (only 20 minutes or so instead of over an hour), and gave it a little more leeway in how close it had to be to the original images. this was done with Looking Glass v1.3 by AI Curio/bearsharktopus
