I can confirm, that only do I support this scenario 110%, but I have made such a thing canon! I adore this sort of thing. It's so cute, and so precious and so, so, so Doom Stone. He just...he just doesn't realize.
[Doom Stone] is the kind of person to look at someone dead in the eye and compliment their attractively large thighs by saying "thicc thighs save lives" with complete seriousness and genuine praise.
Does he realize a single ounce of subtext or anything? No, not in the slightest. And that's why he's precious.
Like I said, he would use "thicc thighs save lives" as a genuine, heartfelt compliment. Like, he'd put that on a Valentine's day card. He is just that oblivious.

P.S.: I completely forgot but Doom Stone thinks Free Ranger is thicc. It's a combination of Free Ranger being a chicken (which have large thighs and I think hips too) and someone on the SWAP Force telling Doom Stone the word "thicc". Unfortunately, Doom Stone put the pieces together without noticing the critical hole in his understanding. On the bright side, Free Ranger is flattered.
T.L.;D.R.: I like Doom Stone and Free Ranger from Skylanders: Swap Force, almost too much, and they've taken over my life like Stealthslinger did from 2013 to 2015.
That's right, I awaken from my annual "forget I have Tumblr and not post for ages" phase and I'm here to both stake my spot in the Skylanders tag once more...and also announce that I have found a new ship. Now, this isn't my first Skylanders ship I've ever shipped, that's Stealthslinger and I still love that with all my heart.
But, rarepairs seem to be where I find my calling because I've found one that I cannot stop thinking about. It's to my own detriment, I'll be honest because I've since rewritten Phantom of the Opera for these guys specifically and the SWAP Force by extension. This is what your brain is like on rarepairs and a 7 year fascination with Phantom of the Opera. Don't do rarepairs and a franchise, kids. Or else.

EDIT: I am definitely going to post at least once or twice (definitely more than I have of my Little Nightmares A.U. "Frysta: 1946". If not because I'm back on the hyperfixation grind of that 12 year old fangame and A.U. (no seriously, it's that old), then at least to justify why I made tornado birb over here a ballet dancer in it. Because, of all things to link to a character, this is one that would make me go "I'm sorry, what" if I saw it.
