Invincible United Reactions to Skarra and Dooma having a S/O
Skarra
-Vince is the first to know and while he doesn’t approve he’ll allow it so long as Skarra can be discreet about it
-He 100% did a background check on you like the mafia boss he should have been
-He probably tries to use the relationship to his advantage at some point or will try and pressure Skarra to break it off
-Yes, Skarra keeps his relationship with you a secret and while it’s definitely also because he has a reputation to maintain it’s also because he’s afraid of his teammates scaring you off
-Even Dingaan since A)he can be quite scary and B)He’s the most likely to reveal the secret because of his big mouth
-Dooma is the first of the team to find out and he’s going to savour this opportunity like the bastard he is
-When the team eventually finds out they’re going to give him a lot of shit and you’ll probably suffer the same treatment
-They’ll eventually lighten up on you (probably) and one or two of the might even like you enough to be the scary look-and-act-like-they’re-in-a-gang friends you likely never had
-If you don’t want to go as his plus one for events he’s all for it even if it means he can’t rub your relationship Shakes’ stupid single face
-Games are less risky but you probably don’t want to sit with the team’s enthuisiastic fans unless you do, in which case try not to get swept up in the mob mentality and end up punching someone
-Some conflict might arise within the team because even if you aren’t aware of the team’s infamous reputations or schemes you’ll become a sort of needle in Skarra’s moral compass
-If the needle is constantly spinning and/or pointing in the wrong directions that’s no-one’s business but does mean you’re probably a fun person to be around
Dooma
-He doesn’t even try to hide it and is totally going to be a smug jerk about the whole thing
-Vince, ever-manipulative, will definitely try and use your relationship against Dooma
-At least you likely won’t be razzed because no-one on the team in their right mind is going to be responsible for triggering one of their captain’s episodes when he’s being doing so well (there’s totally an “X days since last Dooma freak out” thing hanging in the locker room)
-Of course Dingaan is going to be the one to forget and give you a hard time at some point and you’ll receive a written apology within the hour
-If you insist on not wanting media attention he’ll reluctantly keep the relationship under the radar, otherwise he’s going to show you off as much as possible
-Don’t be surprised if after a fight you receive multiple pleas from the team to not break up with him because they’ll be the ones to suffer for it during training
