Promoting the Bronze League WADs from 2012 to the Revenant Awards
Instead of saying how the map/WAD gets promoted to the Revenant Awards by default at the end of reviews, I’ve decided that, from now on, I’ll just make a separate post about the WADs from the leagues other than the golden one being featured on the aforementioned ceremony, regardless of whether they get featured by default or not.
From the 2012 Bronze League, we have Dylan Bourke's first maps being promoted to the Pug-of-Pink category (best 2-7 maps long WAD of the year), Call of Dooty II: Green Ops to the Off the Wall category (best partial/total conversion), and Russian Overkill to the Tei Tenga’s Arsenal Category (best gameplay mod). Yes, I’m giving the former the chance to win big, and I don’t care if the maps are the equivalent of kindergarten drawings.
Now, some of you might be wondering – What about “Grezzo 2” and “Community Chest 4”?
To simply put, the latter is already in the top 10 of 2012, so its time will arrive, while in case of the former, I tried to find the English translation but I failed to do so; and besides, from what I’ve seen, I think I would sooner run to the nearest supermarket to buy some bleach than actually finish that WAD. So I guess I dodged the bullet with the What the Pope winner.
Anyway, that’s all for now.
See you all next time with the Odessa 6 review.
