This time it is, unfortunately, entirely Jason’s fault that he bumps into the kid--literally, apparently. Wasn’t really paying attention to where he was going, but at least this time he’s got a decent excuse, even if Jason thinks that maybe by now he should be used to people dying. World still seems to shift under his feet whenever it happens, leaves him off balance in the worst way possible. Still, he’s halfway through a mutter apology before there’s a dull glint of recognition in his eyes. “--you again, huh?” Somehow, it seems to lack his usual bite; check back later for it, it’s been a long, long day.
