It has never been easier to save lives. Be a hero and stay home. Rarely does the normal person have the opportunity to, with small sacrifices, save the lives of their friends, neighbors, and relatives. But right now, we do have that opportunity. Containment is the best super power against COVID-19. We have to do this together, it is our social obligation to protect ourselves and each other (especially the people with weak immune systems and the elders). If you can stay home now, you make things safer for the people who can’t. Don’t be a spreader, be a hero for other people.

This is what’s happening: People panic buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer, leading people to think there's a long-term shortage, leading to more panic buying. It's OK to stockpile some supplies, and it's understandable to prepare for an extended stay at home but hoarding is never a good idea. Just have enough food, meds and essentials for 2 weeks. Remember that families who have food allergies and dietary restrictions are struggling to find what they need. Hoarding items like diapers creates hardships for other parents in need and people on low incomes can't buy in bulk. Don’t be selfish. Think of others first. It will instantly settle the fear and bring us together.

Shopping at Costco with The Moms today and of course I'm wearing a golden crystal sparkly mask. I come around a corner and there was a toddler in a cart. Super towheaded cutie. When she sees me AND my mask she lets out this loud "WHOOOOAAAA!" and looks at her Mom in awe. Her Mom smiles and tells her "I know. Fancy huh!" I'm telling ya. Bling up. Make masks fun. Be snazzy. I saw the cutest Grandma wearing a lovely floral mask. Her whole outfit matched it. Masks are a lot more fun than being infected or infecting others. They aren't a hardship.
