He had lost how long he had been there. Wherever he was being held, he was retained in a small area surrounded by iron bars, shrouded in complete and utter darkness. The only time he could see is when the other came in to either give him food or to experiment, allowing Spock to see the green blood stains on the cement ground and his dirty clothing, but not the face of the man who thought of him as a test subject.Â
The experiments were what kept him up at night. He would remember the pain once he began to relax, slowly altering his mind and what he could perceive from others. Spock would hold onto the bars, waiting for the evil man to enter once more, stretching his mind so much he could hear the thoughts of whoever it was.
Emotions were never an aspect of Spock, but the unknown brought on the sense of being frightened and confused. The only thing he awaited was any chance of escape, feeling around his small area to find any loose objects he could either use as a tool or a weapon.
Once he decided there was nothing he could do, he attempted to reach further into the mind of the man at a further distance from his, usually as he stood outside of the door. After becoming used to the other's mind, he could begin to sense when the other was coming, and wondered whether eventually he would be able to push thoughts into his mind, or possibly alter his perception and assist his escape.
