Two weeks! Two weeks we've been blessed with this tiny little one❤️ two weeks filled with more love than I ever thought I could feel, filled with sleepless nights and days and excessive milk and diapers. We've had so much fun learning everything about him. Our biggest challenge came Thursday, when frijolito came home feeling sick and we couldn't keep his fever down.. turns out my baby caught covid at school, we've been struggling with having him be isolated in his room but he's starting to feel better. The weather was so pleasant today and we decided to go on a hike. Last day of elementary school for my handsome frijolito😭 they do awards ceremonies very different here in KS, they only give out 3 awards total and there's no decorations😅 I think his old school went a little more over the top and this was super different😅 anyway! He made honor roll for the last quarter which he normally gets but they didn't count the grades for the rest of the year since they were from TX so they didn't allow him to participate in the two other awards but that's ok! He's excited to start his summer, become a middle schooler and a bug brother💖 we're so proud of my sweet boy! Donovan had a field trip to his new middle school for this upcoming year. He was required to sign up for his classes and electives at this time. He chose several electives including chorus which I thought he wanted because he remembers being in choir at church and misses it. However, he comes home and says he wants to be in choir cause he knows that's where the girls will be😮‍💨 says there's more chance of relationships there😭 where did my baby go? Frijolito on his first day at his new school this last Wednesday. Weather was at 30 some degrees but felt like in the the lower 20s, kids were wearing thin sweaters and no hats - then mijo and I show up in our thick layers😅 you can say we're not used to this weather.
