So in DND today, my character tried opening a jar of butterflies to get a diamond out of it. Then the butterflies started growing 10x the size and attacked, but in her defense she tried lighting one on fire because butterflies are flammable- sadly I crit failed that roll, ending in a butterfly tornado fiery vortex of death and butterflies just swarming the other player, one who she had convinced to drink an unmarked, mysterious purple potion they found that made him glow… that player went unconscious thanks to the fire butterfly tornado vortex, and all and all, these butterflies were not worth my greedy little gnome’s trouble. thankfully her party is all ridiculously chill and doesn’t mind that everything went to sht because she wanted a diamond out of a jar- that ended up being totally worthless with a glamour spell on it.
