“It definitely took me some time to get used to life in Wartwood, but I think you’ll fit in a lot easier! Not like you’ll have to be here for all the months I was, anyway.”

The pair were standing just a hop, skip, and jump away from a quaint little farm, the main building recessed into a giant tree stump- the Plantar family home, a sight that had Anne positively beaming. Quickly realizing she’d wound up in a dream with a stranger, she was feeling pretty optimistic about going through this, even with somebody she didn’t know. If she was back in Wartwood, this had to be a good memory, right? Surely it would be a pleasant time for her, and for this…overgrown two-legged turtle guy. Not one of the kinds of people she’d met before, but she was still convinced he would be able to vibe with any dream frogs he ran into. It kind of made her wonder why there weren’t any turtle folk in Amphibia.

Turtles were amphibians, right? Darn D+ in biology.

Choosing a quest like this wasn’t at all a logical decision. She knew it would involve combat, and she was perfectly well-aware her abilities in that regard were severely diminished without most of her magic.  So why was Eda here- why was it that she’d chosen to take on this quest in particular?

Stress relief, mostly.  She had nothing when it came to combative magic, her Owl Staff, or her apprentice...but she had flight, a stick, and a WHOLE lot of pent-up frustration at her situation.  At the very least she could smack these sprites around until she got tired of it all.

She didn’t quite expect the creatures to begin to swarm her so much, though.  Though she darted through the air with quite a bit of agility, the numbers they had grown to assured they could spread out, have some waiting nearby to stop any attempt to escape.  This called for some quick-thinking on her part- the formulation of an ironclad plan, the perfect strategy to beat away more and more of these flickery little bugs.

The massive void god looked down as they were spoken to, lowering their head to try and examine the other. Large white eyes, empty and hollow. They paused, before grabbing their notebook, writing in it for the other to read. It’s not like many could hear their voice, anyways.
