||SUNDAY SESH| Now or Never|| ••••••••••••• I used to be such a fearless artist with little to no regard of others' opinions of my work or actions. I could dive into the darkest parts of my soul and share my vulnerability with such ease. With age and wisdom, I've realized that I've only hindered myself by hiding what I perceived as "naïveté." This, in turn, led me to cloud and block this ability. What I now perceive as strength ended up being the very thing that chased many of my muses away. Thank GOD, they're slowly making their way back into my life. With time, a sense of urgency does begin to fester. With this new sense of urgency in me, I continue to challenge myself as an artist and person. With this video, I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone a bit by trying to tap into my vulnerability and by deciding to freestyle on a short stairwell whilst vulnerable (for shits and giggles 😅). It may not seem like much, but regardless of the size of the challenge, I respect those who try to push their limits any way they can. I challenge myself to find that lost fearlessness within me.
