Update XXXX - Daniel Compositing Update
I needed to clean up the Blackplate for the mirror shot as well as increase the size of the mirror.
I've done some rough clean up (there are obvious patches in the rotopaint) for it and will continue on it later but here is what it looks like so far:
Here is the original Backplate. As you can see there are a lot of things that need to be cleared out of the shoot in order to make it aesthetically pleasing.
Here I undistorted the image to remove any and all distortion that the Gopro would have created.
I transformed the image, lowing it's position in order to set the composition of this shot.
I did some rough clean up, extending the walls and carpet with RotoPaint in Nuke. I think from this point, since This will virtually be a still shot, I will finish this off in Photoshop, which would be a lot easier and faster.
l also increased the size of the mirror; using the photo references we took on set, I will be able increase the resolution of the frame. I do think I increased the size of the mirror a bit too much, although when props are rendered in, it may help with perspective and understanding relative size of the mirror.
For The dolly shot, I have Undistorted the lens and created a stabilized version that will need some more twerking before I go onto cleaning up the shoot.
Below is a test comp of the last scene as it zooms out of her eye. It is still quite rough as the my stabilization technique is not complete but this gives a rough idea of how it will be.
