You've said that Dolly often plays dumb on purpose, but that begs the question:
If she often plays dumb, how smart is she actually? Is she actually pretty clever, or is she still kinda airheaded?
On a related note, if she is smart, does Jinx treat her as such? Or does her ego lead her to downplay Dolly's intelligence to make herself feel like "the smart one"?
While we've gotten a good deal of information about Jinx to get a sense of her character, Dolly's unfortunately not gotten quite the same treatment. It'd be nice to know a bit more about this carefree criminal clown goober.
Jinx knows Dolly is just pretending and Jinx thinks she is wasting her brain. Jinx will not downplay Dolly intelligences if anything she sees her as an equal(mostly Jinx is still full of herself).
But Dolly herself doesn’t think she’s that smart, she doesn’t like to think anyway and even less after the death of August. When Dolly tries a little she can think very fast on her feet even with a lot of pressure, something she learned from the circus.
