R.) - Après quelques mois de travail aux "Passes Dangereuses", un individu qui avait fait connaissance avec des amis dan un hôtel de Dolbeau, s'éveilla le matin en constatant la disparition de $180.00 en argent et en chèques endossés.
Les voleurs furent arrêtés immédiatement et remis entre les mains de la police provinciale. Ces jeunes gens disent venir de Québec.
"Vols à Dolbeau," Le Soleil. October 23, 1942. Page 10. ---- Dolbeau, (D. N. C. R.) - Dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi dernier, des voleurs se sont introduits dans les magasins de MM. J.-Ad. Gagnon, S.-W. Weis et au restaurant d'Henri Gagnon, et dérobèrent pour environ $200.00 en argent après avoir vidé les caisses de ces magasins. Ils ne réussirent pas cependant à ouvrir les coffres-forts qui furent forcés à des endroits. Le restaurant Maurice Boutin a aussi été visité; mais après avoir forcé la serrure de la porte les voleurs renoncèrent à leur dessein. Sans l'avertissement donné par des chiens de garde, les vols auraient certainement été plus considérables.

Really liking this 'Montreal in the Summertime' video from those folks at Dolbeau, the Canadian accessories company and, of course, the soundtrack. Strawberry Letter 23 is the essence of summer. The kind people at Dolbeau were nice enough to send me this beautiful bow tie. I've been trying to step up my bow tie game and this just earned me a 1up. It can be worn 8 different ways. That's about $8 per bow. Can't beat that. The fabric and construction are both amazing. I was hesitant about spending $60 on a bow tie (and I didn't have too), but after handling this one, these things are clearly underpriced. Top notch. I especially love the bone buttons. Excellent touch. Thanks for the great bow, Dolbeau.
