Dokutake runs in my blood. 😎

I have always been a Dokutama. A really old one, but that’s besides the point.

Shibuki sat down on the riverbank. Stress and work had worn him down and the future he looked forward to as a child bore ill feelings in his heart. He had been entrusted the large responsibility of looking out for his teammates far too early in his opinion and the full weight of it was finally tumbling down unto him. Ibuki, although friendly, was dead set on not falling behind in his studies or being beaten by the Nintama. Yamabuki became increasingly more of a threat and the other three found them selves carefully choosing each of their words as to not offend her. Usually, Shibuki would be able to turn to Fubuki, seeing as the boy was less violent and thought through his actions, but Fubuki's fights with his dad had increased with time and the frustration that sparked from it had left the both of them far more emotional.

Ibuki had once offered to take the role of leader off of Shibuki's hands for a day to give him a break. Excited about having a little downtime he had quickly agreed without giving it a second thought. That's how he learned that Ibuki can't handle a position of power without getting carried away. 

Yamabuki had once offered as well, the results were painful, and, in the end, Shibuki grew more stressed. Fubuki tried to lighted the load and took on a couple of his jobs. Sadly that didn't last for long, as Shibuki had noted Fubuki becoming more and more worried about his father, and took back the jobs with nothing more than a simple "Don't worry about it!"

Shibuki had given up on his father some time ago. There were always secret meetings and missions that kept the two apart. Although, he would surely jump at any chance to go on another father-son fishing trip. Those were the highlight of his childhood, that is, when they did happen. Thinking back to those days caused Shibuki to mentally kick himself. He came to the river, on his one day off, and didn't think about bringing a pole and bait? 

With nothing better left to do he tossed a near-by stone in to the river. He was about to stand up to leave when he heard his name called. Glancing over his shoulder, he caught Ibuki standing a few meters away with a goofy grin. Puzzled, but curious, Shibuki walked over and, before he could ask any questions, Ibuki began dragging him towards the school building.
