Coffee: we used to buy a particular breakfast blend from Whittards, but these days I generally go with just the smell, otherwise I have to be satisfied with the occasional slice of coffee cake.

Tea: still have a soft spot for Sainsbury’s own brand everyday tea, and Tesco’s own brand Earl Grey.

Food: this is a toss up between chip shop chips, and cheese & onion crisps

Scent: bacon, fresh bread, turkey roasting in the oven.

Author: oh dear. I suppose IF I had to choose one it’d either be Jane Austen or Terry Pratchett for his witch books in Discworld.

Artist: J. M. W. Turner without a shadow of a doubt, but I love loads of artists.

Movie: if I said I have a small obsession with films, that might be considered an understatement. The only reason I was allowed to get Sky Movies was so that I’d stop buying DVDs (let’s just say that storing them became an issue). This is my fancy way of saying I couldn’t possibly choose.

Fictional character: because she has been such an inspiration to me, I’m going to choose Donna Noble

Band/type of music: almost anything, to be honest, although I’m not a fan of modern jazz or rap music. As long as I can dance or sing along to it, I’m happy

Season: all of them except for birthday season – which we have now entered and will carry on until the end of September.

Flower: I like all flowers, and although I rather like white flowers mixed into a bouquet, I detest the smell of lilies

Colour: blue

Animal: dogs and budgies

Architectural style: modern and Tudor

Mountains or beach: both, in that I love the freshness of mountains, and the sight of open water, rather than being the sort of person who sunbathes

Meadows or forests: both. You’ve got to love a tree or two.

Random fact about you: Monday was my first online funeral; and I spent last Thursday physically at one of my two remaining aunts’ funeral (being invited to 3 funerals in a week is a new personal record, btw).

When Donna Noble is six, she runs away to the seaside. Her mum has decreed that they're not going on holiday this year – “waste of money, anyway, shivering by the sea and getting sick off sugar”-- and so she packs her favorite sparkly blue suitcase and gets on a bus. Her mum and her grandfather come after her, of course, and when she gets home, there are rounds of endless questions and no dessert for a week. But for a minute, when she stands on the sand and looks out at the endless expanse of the sea, the taste of salt air sharp on her tongue, she feels something that she doesn't quite have the words for yet.

When Donna Noble is ten, she buys a map of the world and sticks a pin in it for every last place she wants to go. It's a forest of push-pins covering the globe and every last one is a different adventure. Her friends roll her eyes and ask her how she's going to get there.

When Donna Noble is fifteen, she talks her mum into letting her go to Paris on a school trip. She expects the Eiffel Tower and sidewalk cafes and handsome French men playing the accordion on street corners. She gets dirty streets and old French men grinning at her in the Metro and endless forced marches through the Louvre while their art teacher goes on and on about the Renaissance and keeps a gimlet eye on any girl thinking about slipping off. But on the last day in Paris, she wakes up earlier than anyone else and buys five macarons from the bakery on the corner. They taste like roses and pistachio and melt on her tongue as she watches the sun streak across the copper-topped roofs. Donna promises herself that she'll go back on her own someday. She never quite gets around to it.

When Donna Noble is thirty-eight, she meets a man who has adventure tucked into his pockets.

When she is forty, she goes looking for him again. And when she finds him, she decides that she's never letting go.

57. do you take shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels?

I’ve never stayed in a hotel before, so I don’t know!  Would I be allowed to take them, I wonder?

58. do you have freckles?

No, but I think they’d look cute on me. :3

59. do you smile for pictures? 

Yes, but my smile is the most awkward think in the world. XD
