cw: destruction of a whole planet

Activon was one of the FIRST colonized planets in this universe, and they were actually very advanced compared to what the history books tell them. They were wiped out by this force called The Great Reckoning (A solar flare knocked out their grid, and then they got "targeted" aka their planet got hit with rocky debris and asteroids, causing the planet to quite literally fall apart into pieces), and they decided that the best course of action was to take their stasis pods (cruder than other current stasis pods but it definitely still worked).

They put all of their younger population (from new adults to like 30 [in earth years/numbers] into them, ship them off while the planet and systems were still whole and powered with the emergency generators (they could only afford the larger facilities, not enough for that PLUS the houses, so they came together and decided on this). They sent off these pods to the spatial vacuum and jettisoned them out of the Activon atmosphere, keeping them in stasis until the pods found coordinates to habitable planets, where they then would land, open, and the person would be free to live the rest of their life there.

Piva Iiris (xe/xem), a Beryna (Beryllium) native from Upper Beryna, and xey are one of the lead mechanics and roboticists! Xey have a patent for creating Sentience Cores (SenCore), cores for androids that xey have perfected and have since started using for Dokelion's robotic ship helpers.

Using SenCores reduced the need to find people to work and maintenance the ship full time if at all on Dokelion, especially since the ship was positioned in space, so these people would hardly see their families. These SenCore androids allowed for maintenance to occur efficiently, and since all SenCores can communicate to each other, it allowed for seamless connection between the different androids and better handle the needs of the ship.

SenCores were one of Piva's life works, as xey were wanting to create "sentient" robots for xeyr facilities on Beryna. This would allow safer job processing to occur, and Beryna natives would be able to multitask more efficiently; this would also combat the lack of personable robotics and artificial intelligence in the office, allowing the Beryna to still develop a rapport with the machines they work with. There were many different designs, blueprints, and prototypes, though it's only more recent that xey've managed to perfect it enough to create a patent for it.

Dokelion itself is programmed with a SenCore and can take on either a physical android form or remain with the central motherboard, but Piva has close relationships with all of xeyr robots.

PLANETARY SYSTEMS:

The main way to access the circulatory organ in an android is through the butterfly hatch in the back of the chest casing. On the inside of the chest case, there are four internal clasps that keep the case put together, and right behind the butterfly hatch is the reinforced tungsten “spine” made of detachable links that click together with a sliding mechanism. 

Once the casing has been removed, the circulatory organ can be safely removed for repair or replacement.

The circulatory organ is made of an aluminum alloy with copper and magnesium to retain a low weight and good conductivity, and there are four separated chambers (similar to a human heart). On top of the organ is a battery component that is welded to the top of the circulatory organ, which is used to electrify the hydraulic fluid and increase its efficiency in energizing the robot’s circuits. In all of the chambers, there is a semi-permeable insulating gel that keeps the organ from sparking due to electric overload. The membrane cannot pass the gel through, but it allows the hydraulic fluid to pass through easily whether Sparked (electrified) or Inert (no electric current).

Starting from unelectrified hydraulic fluid from the body, it goes into the top right (riva talcum) chamber, and is filtered into the bottom right (riva bexum) chamber. The hydraulic fluid is pumped up to the battery component, where it’s run through the Sparking Chamber and is given an electric current. The Sparked fluid is then pushed into the top left (lacra talcum) chamber and pumped into the bottom left (lacra bexum) chamber. Once the Sparked hydraulic fluids have been pumped into the lacra bexum, it’s then pumped out of the circulatory organ and through the body to disperse energy throughout the body.

The circulatory organ is safely placed under the chest piece, hidden from the exterior. Vivian, the ship's "motherboard", is the first one to have gotten the optimization of the circulatory organs.

Another part of the circulatory organ is a transmission sensor. This transmission sensor connects to a storage unit inside the android’s head, which is hidden behind the face plate and carefully cushioned by a foam support. The storage unit is called a Sentience Core, or a SenCore.

there's "classical" in which they have tangible bodies and a tangible language that's defined under the Universal Common Language and can be translated without extra interpretation from interpreters, these are your stable state elements that makeup like 60% of the periodic table

Then there's "Quanta" which is a play on quantum or non-classical. These are usually the "excited" or "unstable" elements like synthetically made elements or unstable Actinide or Lanthanide series, and these have intangible or at least non-traditionally tangible (amorphous, made of light, electricity, etc) they also do not have a home language that's defined or derived under Universal Common Language.
